Abstract
In the context of rising interest in health care practices and the strong digital transformation in the medical industry, the digital health information literacy has attracted researchers’ great attention. As a part of the research project on the digital health information literacy among Vietnamese students, this article presents the outcomes of a scoping review that examined the studies pertaining to the project's topic. The main purpose of this review was to analyze the research objectives, methods, and key findings of the previous studies, in order to pinpoint the existing research gap on this subject. The examination utilized reliable international and national databases, with a specific emphasis on scholarly articles published between 2013 and 2023. The general findings suggest that when it comes to exploring the digital health information literacy of Vietnamese students, quantitative research methods are the most commonly used. The primary focuses of this research involve evaluating the digital health information literacy, identifying the factors that impact this literacy, exploring individuals' awareness of it, investigating the link between the digital health information literacy and health practice, and testing the digital health literacy literacy measures. The findings of the review offer insight into the existing research on the digital health information literacy among Vietnamese students, laying the groundwork for potential recommendations in future studies.
